Ideal Incompressible Fluids

Are there any ideal incompressible fluids?

I once was on a hike with a mathematician who found this fact alarming, since books often describe the behavior of such fluids. Some fluids under some circumstances behave very nearly as ideal incompressible fluids, so that's why it's worth describing the ideal case.
