Atmospheric Pressure at the top of a Mountain

Atmospheric pressure on top of a mountain to be 1.8 atm . Is that right

Whoops!   I think you got it backwards.  As you go higher and higher there is less air mass above you that contributes to the pressure.

Here is a typical pressure vs. altitude graph.   It shows that the pressure of a 5000 meter mountain is 1.8 times less than at sea level.
