Why Can't Microwaves Escape From the Oven?

why can't go micro waves go trough a microwave? im from the netherlands so my english is not that good if you don't get it.

It's because microwaves can't pass through a conductive material like metal.  They get reflected or absorbed .    Even the window you can see through has some conductive properties and in addition has a sort mesh that is also conductive.
