i would like to know if i can make a torchlight from selotape which holds the 1.5V batteries, the bulb and the switch. i just bind them together so they are in contact with each other. the positive of the battery is connected to the bulb and the negative is connected to the spring/switch. they are all recycle parts from different different places.

One battery should work if the bulb is 1.5 volts. Some bulbs require 3 volts, in which case you would need two batteries in series.
