Q:
I'm building a model windmill as a home project. Now I just got a bycicle dynamo but no wires to connect it to anything. Do i have to have a special wire to connect to the dynamo or would copper and zinc wires work? And if just the wires work can i hook it up to an ordinary light bulb? Thankyou

A:
Sure, a bicycle dynamo should be able to run a 6 Volt light bulb.   That's what it's designed for.  Just use ordinary copper wires to connect it up.
