Hello, I was wondering if you put an effervescent tablet and water in a pressurised chamber and gradually increased the pressure inside, would the tablet eventually stop dissolving and producing gases (before it has completely dissolved)?

Yes, in principle if you raise the pressure of CO2 enough the equilibrium would no longer favor further dissolving. Whether that's close to being reachable in practice, I'm not sure.
