What does the pnuemonice device A.C. Helms stand for? Our entire eighth grade class is doing a scavenger hunt and noone can seem to find the answer to this one question. The only hint our instructor said was that it is in the category of physics. thanks.

"A. C. Helms" is a pneumonic device used by some people to remember some of the forms of energy:

Atomic
Chemical
Heat
Electrical
Mechanical
Sound

These aren’t really the only types of energy, nor are they all really different from each other. But if you have to remember this list, this is a pretty good way to do it.
