Q:
When you put celery in sugar water, does it taste sweeter? This is what I'm doing for my science project, but i can't find much online about sugar water.

A:
This is an experiment you can do yourself.  Celery, water and sugar are cheap. Try it. Have a few people taste it. Make sure they don't know which celery has been in the sugar water and which in plain water. Make sure to wipe off the sugar water first, because obviously it tastes sweet.

When you think about it, isn't what you can find out yourself more reliable than what somebody (including us) tells you? Really, all sort of pure nonsense appears online. That includes this site, where we removed over a hundred errors and people still catch more every now and then.

You can't do every experiment yourself, but you can do this one. Then you can write in and tell us the answer.
