| I guess somebody has asked you this question looking for the word
’photosynthesis’. This is the reaction that occurs in plants and some
bacteria to provide the chemical energy used by most life. The energy
input, by the way, can’t be in just any old form but needs to be as
light in certain ranges of colors.
