Radioactive Magnets

Can matter be both radioactive and magnetized? if so what are plausible effects of using that sort of matter in an alternator?

Sure, you could have some radioactive isotopes (e.g. of cobalt) in a ferromagnet. To a small extent, you always do. Incorporating something more radioactive in a car alternator would have the effect of giving people a dose of radiation and maybe causing cancer. I don't see it as a real selling point.
