Dark Matter and Antimatter

Upon my reading about dark matter and anti matter I will like to know if there is any huge similarities or relationships between these two matters and also how can dark matter be further be studied.

There's no special relation between dark matter and antimatter. Antimatter is fundamentally needed to go with matter in order for Special Relativity to work properly with quantum mechanics. Dark matter is not obviously theoretically needed in addition to ordinary matter. It's just that we find effects of some other sort of mass that clumps with visible matter, so we guess that it's a type of dark matter. If dark matter particles are found, they will have antimatter versions, just like our more familiar particles.
