Are glucose, galctose, and fructose the same? Because my teacher told us they can all be represented by c6h12o6. Is that true?

You're teacher is right that they all have the same formula. The atoms are arranged differently in each, however, so they are different chemicals. Wikipedia has some schematic pictures of the molecules:
