Using Waste Heat

Q:
is it possible to use the heat generated by the condenser of a refrigeration system to evaporate say water?

A:
Sure, if you have some reason to want to evaporate water, the heat dumped out by a refrigerator will work just as well as any other heat. The refrigerator coils don’t get very hot, so you won’t be able to boil the water, just speed up its evaporation.
