Seeing Anti-matter

Q:
If photons are the same as anti-photons, then does that mean we can see anti-matter objects using telescopes? If so, how could we tell if it's matter or anti-matter?

Yes, from the point of view of photons matter and anti-matter look almost the same. There are some rare processes for which matter and antimatter show different behavior in subtl ways, but I'm not sure if any of those are detctable via telescope.
