Jinx Around Electronics?

Hi. I seem to have a problem that I hope you can help me with or possibly direct me to someone who can help. For the last couple of years or so, electronic things either go crazy around me or don't work at all, in particular, Cell Phones and computers. In the case of cell phones, I will try to do just the basic things, like make a phone call, and it can be a major hassle. Just trying to dial a number on the keypad can either turn the phone completely off, make the directory spin out of control, the phone will dial the wrong number etc. I've had friends watch this happen, yet when I had the phone to them, it works perfectly! Handing it back to me causes chaos! When I bring it back to the store, they find nothing wrong with it. Computers will just freeze up when I sit down at them and work fine when someonelse is there. Sometimes, if I'm standing next to someone using it, it doesn't work properly yet when I leave the room it works fine. I had a job as a photographer using a digital camera connected to a mousepad and screen. I could hold my finger about an inch above the mousepad and the mouse would move. Without me touching it! The camera would constantly shut down or malfunction. Fortunatley, things calmed down and I was able to keep my job. Someone who witnessed those things suggested that I had an energy field around me that would corrupt electronics. Is this possible and if so, what do I do about?

Hi Rob,

I'm sorry to say this but you are suffering from the Joe Btfsplk syndrome.  Joe was a character in 'Lil Abner', drawn by the famous cartoonist Al Capp.  Poor Joe caused wreck and havoc wherever he went.  My heart goes out to you.
