How do you Find the Distance From you and the Tree?

you are looking out your window during a storm and see lightening strike a tree it takes the sound about 6second to reach you. you know that sound travels at a speedat 330m/s. how do you find the distance from you and the tree in km.

Use the relationship Distance = Time * Velocity.  Don't forget that 1 km = 1000 m
