hi i am doing an experiement on water pressure. i wanted to know how you can boil water without heat.

If you lower the pressure enough, water will boil even at room temperature, so then you wouldn't need a special heat source. However, heat would flow into the boilng water from its surroundings. You need some sort of vacuum pump to lower the pressure enough, but you don't need a fancy one.

As the water boils it will cool off. Get enough of the water to boil away without introducing additional heat, and what's left may freeze!
