Unused Brains

Yeah, me again. I just thought I may as well ask this question while I had the chance. I'm not sure you'll be able to answer this one. Its said that humans only use 15%(something like that)of their brain power daily. If we were to use 100% ,or even 80, could it cause us to posses supernatural abilities? Such as autism-like qualities or super "powers".

I suppose you're right that at any given time, most of your neurons aren't firing. It's also true that most of your muscles aren't contracting at any time. You'd be having very serious problems if they were.

Still, you can exercise your muscles and build up your strength significantly. The same is true of your brain. Whether you would call the results 'supernatural' depends on what sort of words you like to use when watching, for example, Michael Jordan.
