Q:
Thank you for the opportunity to ask questions.

How does surface tension of water change in a vacuum? Can say, a piece of wood float from bottom to top in a pool of water while in an a vacuum? or in an extreme vacuum?
Also, I am very interested in water standing (defying gravity)in a vacuum, similar to that we see with finger over a straw causung dispacement to not happen. What if the chamber were a box is 1/4 water inside? could a vacuum be created to make the water stand on one side of the box only as the box is rotated from 0 to 90 degrees?

I know I have several questions here. Sorry. I am doing research for an alternative energy source that relys on gravity, enertia, and boyancy. and possibly could run indefinetely or with very little help. But how could this process have been overlooked by other? Perhaps there’s something I don’t know about that would not allow this process to happen. so I am looking. again thank you.

I need some help with this idea, esp in the physics of the process. It may have serious potential or it may be laughable, I’m just not qualified to say at this point.
I invite anyone with interest to join me.

Thak you

Hello Joseph,
Basically, what you are trying to do is to build a perpetual motion machine of the first kind.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of inventors have tried and failed.  All kinds of contraptions and clever devices have been proposed.  None have worked.  The patent offices of most
countries refuse to even consider such applications.   The reason:  "The First Law of Thermodynamics", which translated into plain English is "There is no such thing as a free lunch".  "Conservation of energy" is a basic law of physics that refuses to be violated.
Before you invest a lot of time or money into such a project please review some of the articles on the subject such as:    or
