Turning Into a Moon
Most recent answer: 12/03/2015
Q:
So lets say, I travel to space to the distance as moon's distance from earth. Lets say my mass and moon's mass is the same and there is no moon. Would I rotate around the earth just like moon does? I mean is that how gravity works?

A:
You would orbit the Earth just like the mMoon does so long as something gave you a sideways push to start the orbiting. Otherwise, once your rocket (or whatever) was turned off, you'd just fall straight back to Earth.
