A:
Electromagnetics is the field of study that deals with elctromagnetism.
Electromagnetic forces are responsible for most of the forces you see
around you (except gravity). Generators, computer disks, lightning, and
light bulbs are all examples things that use electromagnetic effects.
When you come down to it, even friction and tension come from
electromagnetic forces.
Most people have heard of electric force and magnetic force, but when you study the two of them, you begin to see that they are very interrelated, electric forces affect magnetic forces and vice versa. Hence we have the study of electromagnetics.
