Infinitely Slow Big Bang?
Most recent answer: 07/01/2013
Q:
Is it possible that the Big Bang actually happened an infinite number of years ago? Or, to put my question another way, is it possible that time as we perceive it is constantly "speeding up" such that the Big Bang only appears to have happened very quickly?

As it happens, there was just quite a bit of publicity about a model in which that's just what happens. Here's the paper:. It's over my head to what extent it's just a re-description of the usual BIg Bang physics and to what extent it represents different behavior.
