Hello Louis,
In principle one can make glueballs in high energy collisions. Theorists calculate they should have masses between 1 and 2 Gev. They would not live long, decaying very quickly into pions and kaons. So far, several searches have turned up no evidence for them but you can be sure that experimenters will continue searching. If found, their properties would help sharpen our understanding of QCD.
