I have to do a project ,and I have to show 15 pictures to show "physics in action"(everyday life). I don’t know what to do. Can someone there help me???????????

Dear Aimee,
Some of my favorite physics concepts are seen in everyday things that you can find pictures of just about anywhere.
Some examples are:

1) Newton’s 3rd law (action and reaction): Look at a rocket blasting off, for example the space shuttle. There are nice pictures on the web at

2) Centripetal acceleration: Look at a roller coaster or many other amusement park rides that go "round and round".

3) Gravity: Look at the motion of the planets in our solar system: Check out http://www.anu.edu.au/Physics/solarsystem/homepage.htm

These are just some examples...just about everything you can think of has to do with physics and science. If you have any other ideas and want to look for pictures for those, try … just type in the name of whatever you are looking for and you will probably find that someone has nice pictures on the web that you can download.
