As of the year 2000, there were more than 500 different bird species listed as "endangered", "critically endangered" or "extinct in the wild". As such, I’m not even going to try to list them. The best place to look for such a list is at the official list itself, put together by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN): https://www.iucnredlist.org/.
