Q:
how many volts would it take to blow up a fluorescent light? how about a led light bulb? normal house light bulb? Christmas lights (outside lights and indoor please give separate answer for each)?

William- We can remember being your age well enough to know that this is not an innocent question. Please don't blow up all that stuff. Fluorescent bulbs always have a little mercury in them, which is toxic and hard to clean up. Some old ones even contain beryllium, which is very nasty indeed.
