It's a little hard to say much precise about "the first human" because it's not clear where you choose to draw the line between humans and pre-human ancestors. Nevertheless, for any common choice of where to draw that line, the first humans evolved in Africa. The main line of our ancestors branched off from other relatives very roughly 150,000 years ago in Africa. As they spread out, they interbred a little bit with other groups (including Neanderthals) that had branched off earlier, up to about 800,000 years ago. (My personal ancestry is about 3% Neanderthal and Denisovan.)
Even if you choose a much earlier branching time for the whole collection of our close relatives from other apes, they all go back to Africa. Our last shared ancestor with chimpanzees lived very roughly 7,000,000 years ago, in Africa.
