Isaac Newton died on March 31st, 1727 in London, England. He actually lived to be much older than most people at that time - an incredible 84 years old! And no, he didn’t die because an apple fell on his head... it seems that it was simply old age. Interestingly, he never even retired. To the day of his death, he held his position as the president of the Royal Society of London, the most prestigious organization of scientists and mathematicians in England.
