Transistor Demos
Most recent answer: 10/22/2007
Q:
Do you have any demonstrations or labs dealing with transistors on a simple and inexpensive level. The age group would be from 12-17. I dont want to do extensive quantitative studies on the transistor using breadboards, circuits, if it can be avoided. Also, do you have any demos/labs utilizing the piezoelectric effect and the construction of an inexpensive crystal radio?
Many thanks,

Dear William,
We dont do any transistor labs with the physics van...this is a bit advanced for the age group we usually see. I have seen seveal pretty good "electronics experiment kits" however at local stores. Have you tried your local radio shack or hobby store...they may have just what you want.
