Gravity Around Black Holes

Q:
Description of black holes state that "not even light (photons) escape the black hole" but gravitons do, otherwise black hole will be un-detectable--will not bend the nearby passing light. Hence, an even more bizare object may be hypothesized and named UN-DETECTABLEs which do not let even gravitons to escape. Yes?

As the black hole forms it's already surrounded by a gravitational field. So the gravity is already out there, it doesn't have to escape anything.
