if the earth was made of plastic (solid plastic core), would it have a gravitational pull?? and WHY??

Yes, all forms of energy cause gravity. That includes any type of rest mass- molten iron, plastic, used comic books, caviar, whatever. All objects gravitationally attract all other objects.
