Lifting With Helium

OK you can make some thing float with helium ok i have a rocket i need to float how much helium will it take to float an object say per gm? the baloon has a volume of 28295.8367 cm^3 how much will it float?

According to the paragraph on helium in my CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 1000 cubic feet of helium in a balloon (presumably not under huge pressure, but around one atmosphere) will lift 68.5 pounds at sea level. Your balloon has a volume very close to one cubic foot, so it can exert a lifting force of 0.0685 pounds or about 1.1 ounces, minus the weight of the balloon material.
