At 40oC  the equivalent temperature on the Fahrenheit scale is 104oF.  That's pretty warm even in Dallas.  I know, my sister lives there and I once visited her when it was this hot.
You can calculate it yourself using the formulas:
  F = C*9/5 + 32  and  C = (F - 32)*5/9.
