If the earth is round and theres water on earth wouldn't the water be spilled because its upside down?

Hi Leeya- nice question.
I think you have a picture in your mind where the gravity that pulls us down points the same way everywhere. Gravity isn't like that. That gravity is caused by the earth. Anywhere you go on the round earth, the gravity pulls toward the middle of the earth. On the other side of the earth, gravity pulls the opposite direction to how it pulls near you. So anywhere on the earth, the way the water is pulled keeps it stuck to the earth.
