General Description:
Free chemistry and physics demonstration shows are currently offered to teachers of 3rd through 8th grade in all El Paso County, CO Schools. Shows are free to schools, last approximately 45-90 minutes each, and are staffed with volunteers from Intel, Colorado College and University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. The program is currently funded by donations from corporations, in-kind donations from higher learning institutions and by private donations. Furthermore, Cool Science coordinates chemistry and physics demonstration shows available to after school clubs, to the public on special event nights, to home school groups, and any other appropriate audience.
