The outreach program at LEPP provides a variety of school programs for elementary and middle school children. After-school programs for elementary school students include such topics as "Light and Optics", "The Science of Bubbles" and "Atoms for Kids", all offered free or at a marginal cost. The after school program "Electrifying Experiments" is available to middle school students for a small fee. LEPP also offers a traveling program entitled "States of Matter" that is available free of charge to elementary and middle schools located near Ithaca, NY. This program is presented in a science show format where lively demonstrations help to illustrate such concepts as expansion, contraction, pressure and phase change.
The States of Matter show is most suitable for students grades 4th - 8th.
