General Description:
Geology on Wheels is a hands-on laboratory style program that teaches K-5 children geology in their classroom. Two geology majors from the College of William and Mary teach lessons such as: "The physiographic provinces of Virginia", "Fossils of the Tidewater area", "The rock cycle/Rock and Mineral identification", "The layers of the Earth", "What does a Geologist do?" Each presentation is approximately one hour. All supplies are provided.
