Gravitational Blue Shift

Q:
Since gravity pulls photons, and we are located pretty close to the sun, do we see the universe blue shifted compared to what would be measured from outer space?Excluding atmospheric effects, do we see the universe as being brighter than it would be as seen from outer space?

Yes, there's a very small gravitational blue shift due to the Sun's gravity, about a part in 108. There's also a smaller blue shift due to the Earth's gravity.
