Yes, sunlight is just the sort of light that an object at a temperature of about 5800K gives off, if the object is good at emitting and absorbing light. A tungsten wire at the same temperature gives off very similar light. An ordinary incandescent lightbulb is not that hot, because the tungsten filament can't take that heat for long. A flashbulb, which gets very hot briefly, gives off about the type of light you're thinking of.()
