Saltwater Freezing Redux

Most recent answer: 01/02/2015

Q:
I have this freezer bowl that goes along with my ice-cream maker. I have had it in the back of my freezer for 3 days and it still hasn't frozen. There is salt water in it. Can salt water freeze?

Follow-Up #1: freezing saltwater in freezer

Q:
I did that and did not find the answer I was looking for. Will it freeze or not?

none of your business
A:

As the previous answers said, very salty water freezes at -21.1°C. Most home freezers don't get that cold.
