Q:
Does the rebound height of a superball depend linearly on the thickness of the surface it was bounced upon?

A:

No, it can't. The ball will never rebound more than 1 m when dropped from a 1 m height. If the dependence were linear, for thick enough surfaces it would.  Say, for example, that when dropped from 1 meter on a 1 meter thick surface the ball rebounded 0.5 m. For linear dependence, for surfaces over 2 m thick  in this example the rebound would exceed the limit!
