Q:
I have a question that I am confused about.
A rock is propelled upward from the earth with an initial velocity of 60 m/s. It will return to earth in approximately 12s is the answer that was given for this question.
If the equation for velocity is v=a X t and "a" is the constant 9.8 m/second squared how is the answer 12s instead of 6s?
