WHAT IS A GOOD BUT INEXPENSIVE DEIONIZER TO REMOVE RUST FROM WELL WATER, WHICH IS ONLY USED FOR IRRIGATION

I don't know which filter of the many you can find by Googling "rust filter" is the best deal. Rust, forms of iron oxide, typically is found as little particles, not ions. So these filters are particle filters, not deionizers. Is it necessary to filter the water at all if you're using it for irrigation?
