Why Don't Atoms Collapse?
Most recent answer: 09/22/2017
Q:
There are four fundamental forces and Coulomb law states that positive and negative charges attract each other, the more so the closer they are to each other (~ r^-2). So what known *physical force* prevents an electron from making contact with, and getting stuck on, a proton in atoms?
