Hooking up a Potato Battery

Hi, I have a question to the potato battery. The two metal fingers are supposed to be stuck into the potato at opposite ends. But how do you connect the fingers to the bulb then?

The bulb usually will screw into a holder that has two tabs onto which you can either solder a wire to or tightly wrap a wire around.   The other ends of the wires also need to be soldered or tightly wrapped around the metal fingers.
