The frequency of the ac electricity in US homes is 60 Hz (that’s cycles per second). In Europe it’s 50 Hz. I’m not sure about other areas. That’s a full description of the frequency, but I guess you also want some verbal category to put it in. That’s below standard radio frequencies- I guess you’d call it an audio frequency, since 60 Hz is within the range we can hear, for sound waves. In fact, you often hear a 60 Hz buzz from sound systems powered by 60 Hz electricity.

Various household appliances use electricity which is transmitted at different frequencies. Flashlights, for example, run on batteries which provide energy at zero frequency. Your computer may use frequencies of several GigaHertz. There are lots of things in your house that use in-between frequencies, like radios and television. Microwaves are in the GigaHertz range as well.
