can you show me picture of an atom from aluminium?
Each atom of aluminum has a nucleus in the middle with thirteen protons and fourteen neutrons all packed together. Moving around the nucleus are thirteen electrons in three ’orbits.’ The first orbit (closest to the nucleus) has two electrons in it. The second one has eight, and the outside orbit has the last three. The orbits are not really circular as shown in the picture, but are very fuzzy. The picture is just to help you see how many are in each level.
