can you make your own cannon and if so how?
what materials would you need?

A:
Hi Justin,
If we told you how to make a cannon, we'd get in big trouble. If
anyone got hurt with your cannon (whoever is operating the cannon is
one likely person to get hurt) we'd probably get a lawsuit for telling
you how to build one. Even if only inanimate objects are damaged with
your cannon, we'd still get in trouble. The main purpose of cannons is
to damage people and stuff. They are almost certainly illegal to
possess, and even more so to fire. We advise you not to build a cannon.
It is no secret how cannons work, though. Here is a page at
howstuffworks.com which describes how cannons, and guns, which are really just small cannons, work.
