In which state of matter can be said to be a WHITE CLOUD
in the sky on a summer day?
I mean gas, liquid, solid, or any whatever?
- denis (age 85)
Well, I would call it an aerosol; a mixture of very small droplets of liquid suspended in air.
Some clouds, for example high cirrus clouds, are composed of very small bits of ice crystals.
The Wikipedia site has a nice description of a wide variety of clouds: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud
