what type of acids would make a potato battery, a orange battery, and a apple battery work?

The only things you need to build a battery like this beside the fruit/vegetable itself is a bit of zinc, a bit of copper, and some wires. You should NOT be using any types of extra acids, since there’s enough acid in the fruits themselves.
